  • Why should I choose Oxbridge Personal Statements?

Since 2005, Oxbridge Personal Statements has been recognised as the UK’s leading UCAS, Master's, MBA and professional personal statement writing service, helping thousands of students secure a place at their first choice universities. With all our staff and academics having been through the UCAS system themselves, our clients know that they can rely on us to provide a reliable and well-informed service, resulting in an outstanding personal statement.
  • Who will write my personal statement?

To be accepted as a writer or editor for Oxbridge Personal Statements, our academics must prove that they have been educated, at minimum, at a Russell Group university. A vast majority, in fact, have degrees from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and a large number also work as UCAS admissions tutors, professors, lecturers and teachers. This means that your personal statement will be written by an academic ranked in the top 0.1% of the world’s university system.
  • Can you help with the new UCAS personal statement format required from 2026?

Of course. We can support you with both non-UCAS and UCAS personal statement services. From 2026 onwards UCAS has restructured the personal statement into three key questions:

    1. Why do you want to study this course or subject?
    2. How have your qualifications and studies helped you to prepare for this course or subject?
    3. What else have you done to prepare outside of education, and why are these experiences useful?

Each answer must be at least 350 characters, while the overall 4,000-character limit remains the same. Depending on what you need, we can develop a tailored draft to show you how best to approach the format, refine the form and content of your existing answers or provide feedback on how to strengthen your responses.
  • Are your academics using AI to write my statement?

Absolutely not. We prioritise academic integrity in all our services and we can guarantee that every order is crafted by human academics, not by AI.

Every order fulfilled by our network of academics is subject to a meticulous quality control process. This consists of multiple review steps to ensure accuracy, originality and adherence to academic standards.

We also use advanced software to verify that no part of the work is generated by AI, further guaranteeing the integrity and authenticity of the personal statement you will receive.

  • How much will my personal statements cost?

As our service is bespoke and all personal statement examples are tailored to your specific needs, we do not tend to suggest a ‘one-size-fits-all’ pricing structure. As a rough measure, prices for a top-class personal statement start from £150.
  • How do I order a personal statement?

When you’re ready, simply click order to be taken through to our short order form, from where you can generate a quote by selecting the service you require and your preferred delivery date. Once you’re happy with this, click continue to proceed with your order.
  • When do I make payment?

You will need to make payment via our secure payment gateway when you place your order. No work will begin until your payment has cleared in our account. On receipt of your payment, we will send you a questionnaire to identify your unique strengths and abilities, allowing us to match you with the most relevant academic on our books. They will then write your sample personal statement to the highest possible quality within the timeframe specified.
  • When can I expect to receive my finished statement?

The short answer is: whenever you need it! We pride ourselves in providing unique, high-quality personal statements within a swift timeframe – you can expect to receive your personal statement in as little as five days. However, should you need a more express service, we will do our very best to help: just contact us to discuss at your earliest convenience.
  • Can I read some Oxbridge Personal Statements reviews?

Absolutely! Check out reviews from students who have used our Oxbridge personal statement service and see how our expert guidance made a difference in their applications.
  • Do you only provide personal statements?

No – we specialise in personal statement templates but can also offer assistance with covering letters, CVs, and more. If you have started your personal statement and would like an expert to cast their eye over it and offer you some tips for improvement, we also offer editing and feedback services.
  • What information do you require for the survey?

An example of our survey form can be found here
  • Can I submit the personal statement I receive as my own?

Personal statements and written works purchased through our services cannot be submitted as your own. The personal statements and other works we supply are intended solely for the purpose of inspiring your own work by providing you with an example of model research, writing, expression and structuring of ideas.
